This time I lost two Haesteining in a row, each better than the last, in their early 30s in an Ironman game, because I couldn't resist trying to become immortal with a 30 martial Son/Grandson of Haesteinn!īut seriously, is there any way to stack the chances for yourself? Or at least know when there's no chance of it working so you can pull out early? It didn't ruin the campaign, but it REALLY hurt loosing 2 25+ martial leaders in a row and being hit with gavelkind and left in regencies. Does the reincarnation even do anything? Or is it just so that a childless dynasty doesn't get absolutely fucked over on a fail? I always choose the method that corresponds to their highest stat and usually make it to the end, but then fail and get "reincarnated" into some worthless kid that never comes out anywhere near as good as the father.
